The FSC has been made aware of websites stating that Bybit (website address https://www.bybit.com/en-US/) is an entity incorporated and registered in the Virgin Islands. Bybit was incorporated on 22nd August 2018 under the BVI Business Companies Act, 2004. On 10 December 2021, Bybit was struck off the Register of Companies following the resignation of its Registered Agent and was subsequently dissolved on 4 July 2023. Bybit has never been licensed or regulated in the Virgin Islands to carry on any type of financial services business.
