I've had both good and bad experiences with Israel Discount Bank. Day-to-day banking is fine and the app works. However, I had a terrible experience trying to dispute a charge - it took weeks and multiple calls to resolve. The resolution was fair in the end but the process was frustrating.

Pros: App works well for daily banking

Cons: Dispute resolution process is slow and painful

Disappointing experience overall

I opened an account with Israel Discount Bank expecting better based on their marketing. The account opening process took forever, they kept asking for the same documents, and once the account was open the service didn't improve. Fees higher than advertised and interest rates lower than competitors.

Pros: None that I can think of

Cons: Slow processes, misleading advertising, high fees

Been with Israel Discount Bank for about 18 months. Overall a very good experience. The online banking works well, savings rates are decent, and I had no issues when applying for an overdraft. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is their customer service can be a bit slow during busy periods.

Pros: Reliable service, good rates, easy overdraft

Cons: Customer service wait times

I've been banking with Israel Discount Bank for over three years now and the service has been consistently excellent. Their online platform is intuitive, transfers are fast, and whenever I've needed to speak to someone, the customer service team has been helpful and professional. Interest rates on savings are competitive too. Highly recommend.

Pros: Modern app, great customer service, competitive rates

Cons: Branch hours could be longer
