After using Yamanashi Asset Management for about three months, I decided to move my account elsewhere. The platform was unreliable, withdrawals took an unreasonable amount of time, and I could never get a straight answer from customer service. Frustrating experience overall.

Pros: API access|Dividend tracking|Comprehensive tools|Economic calendar

Cons: No fractional shares|Website design could be more modern

Billing department is a black hole

Yamanashi Asset Management has the worst mobile app I have ever used for investing. It crashes constantly, features that work on desktop are missing entirely, and the security implementation is questionable at best. How they released this app is beyond me.

Pros: Copy trading available|Risk management tools|Automated trading options|Tax reports included

Cons: Limited social trading features

Mobile app loses orders

I am in a dispute with Yamanashi Asset Management over a trade that was clearly erroneous. The price shown was wrong, I closed at a profit, and they reversed the trade and took the money back. They said it was a system error. So I lose and they keep? Unacceptable.

Pros: Dividend tracking|Clean UI|Reliable uptime|Smooth onboarding

Cons: Minimum deposit could be lower

Lost thousands due to their errors

Their execution during news is terrible. I had limit orders in place. When the news hit, my orders were not filled at the limit price - they were filled much worse. Yamanashi Asset Management said it was market conditions. Same news, another broker filled me properly. They are not honest.

Pros: Real-time alerts|No hidden fees|Excellent charting

Cons: Some tools only available on higher tiers|Limited demo account features

They took my patience and my money

Do not be fooled by the professional-looking website. Behind the scenes, Yamanashi Asset Management is disorganized and incompetent. I found them through a financial advisor and I can only assume the positive reviews are either outdated or paid for because my experience was terrible.

Pros: Portfolio tracking tools|Helpful community forum|Copy trading available|Tax reports included

Cons: Onboarding videos are outdated|Limited demo account features

An insult to paying customers

After for roughly four months with Yamanashi Asset Management, I can only describe the experience as death by a thousand cuts. No single issue was catastrophic, but the constant stream of small problems, slow responses, and missing features wore me down until I finally left.

Pros: Quick verification|Regular platform improvements|Automated trading options

Cons: Could offer more webinars
