Migration from old platform was a mess

The mobile app from XIence is dangerous. I placed an order that showed as pending, so I placed another. Both executed and I was overexposed. When I complained they said it was user error. The app design is misleading.

Pros: API access|Instant funding|Two-factor authentication

Cons: Minor UI glitches occasionally|Some tools only available on higher tiers

Warning to all investors

I invested $3,500 with XIence after seeing their professional-looking website. At first, everything seemed fine - they showed me impressive returns on my dashboard. But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. I have since reported them to The Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets.

Cons: Blocked my account|No legitimate license|Fake returns

Does not even meet basic standards

After spending for the past year and a half trying to make XIence work for me, I have given up. The platform has too many limitations, the fees are not competitive, and the quality of their market data is questionable. There are much better options available.

Pros: No hidden fees|Educational resources

Cons: Website design could be more modern|Currency conversion fee exists

A disaster from day one

Do not be fooled by the professional-looking website. Behind the scenes, XIence is disorganized and incompetent. I found them after a family member had a good experience and I can only assume the positive reviews are either outdated or paid for because my experience was terrible.

Pros: API access|Tax reports included

Cons: Limited ETF selection

Conversion fees hidden

XIence offers copy trading. I copied a top trader. The copy trades often executed at worse prices than the original. When I asked why they said it was due to latency and liquidity. So the feature is broken or they are skimming. Either way I stopped using it.

Pros: Clear documentation|Stable platform|Segregated accounts

Cons: Nothing significant|Slow to add new assets

Slippage always against the client

What really bothers me about XIence is the disconnect between their marketing and reality. They position themselves as a premium service but deliver a below-average experience. Found them from a blog post comparing services and I fell for the polished exterior. Never again.

Pros: Dedicated account manager|Multi-currency support

Cons: Limited ETF selection

Red flags everywhere

After seeing ads for XIence online, I investigated. The company is listed in the IOSCO I-SCAN warnings database and has been flagged by The Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets. Their website looks professional but that means nothing - many scam operations invest heavily in appearance. Always check the regulatory warnings before investing.

Cons: Unauthorized firm|Found in IOSCO warnings database

Requote on winning trades only

Their execution during news is terrible. I had limit orders in place. When the news hit, my orders were not filled at the limit price - they were filled much worse. XIence said it was market conditions. Same news, another broker filled me properly. They are not honest.

Pros: Social trading features|Good analytical tools

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months
