Winston Partners and Co

After since I opened my account last year with Winston Partners and Co, I can only describe the experience as death by a thousand cuts. No single issue was catastrophic, but the constant stream of small problems, slow responses, and missing features wore me down until I finally left.

Winston Partners and Co offers copy trading. I copied a top trader. The copy trades often executed at worse prices than the original. When I asked why they said it was due to latency and liquidity. So the feature is broken or they are skimming. Either way I stopped using it.

Winston Partners and Co has the worst mobile app I have ever used for investing. It crashes constantly, features that work on desktop are missing entirely, and the security implementation is questionable at best. How they released this app is beyond me.

After spending for about five months trying to make Winston Partners and Co work for me, I have given up. The platform has too many limitations, the fees are not competitive, and the quality of their market data is questionable. There are much better options available.

I found Winston Partners and Co from a review site like this one and the initial impression was positive. But since I retired last year later, I have encountered so many issues that I cannot recommend them. Trades failing, charts not loading, and support tickets going unanswered for days at a time.

My card was charged twice by Winston Partners and Co on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. Winston Partners and Co then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.

Customer support at Winston Partners and Co seems to be run by people who have never used the platform. Every time I call with an issue, I end up explaining how their own system works before they can help me. It would be funny if my money was not involved.

Their execution during news is terrible. I had limit orders in place. When the news hit, my orders were not filled at the limit price - they were filled much worse. Winston Partners and Co said it was market conditions. Same news, another broker filled me properly. They are not honest.

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Winston Partners and Co recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Winston Partners and Co locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. for close to eighteen months later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.
