I referred a friend to Web3 (Imposter) after comparing multiple platforms. We both deposited. The referral bonus never arrived. Support said we did not meet the terms. When we asked which terms they pointed to a clause that was added after we signed up. Shady.

Pros: Smooth onboarding|Dedicated account manager

Cons: Mobile app could be improved

Swap rates are predatory

The mobile app from Web3 (Imposter) is dangerous. I placed an order that showed as pending, so I placed another. Both executed and I was overexposed. When I complained they said it was user error. The app design is misleading.

Pros: Multi-device support|Good analytical tools|Instant funding

Cons: Nothing significant|Limited cryptocurrency options

Did my research - this is suspicious

After seeing ads for Web3 (Imposter) online, I investigated. The company is listed in the IOSCO I-SCAN warnings database and has been flagged by Financial Markets Authority. Their website looks professional but that means nothing - many scam operations invest heavily in appearance. Always check the regulatory warnings before investing.

Cons: Unauthorized firm|Found in IOSCO warnings database

Would not recommend to others

Web3 (Imposter) has the worst mobile app I have ever used for investing. It crashes constantly, features that work on desktop are missing entirely, and the security implementation is questionable at best. How they released this app is beyond me.

Pros: Good mobile app|Instant funding|Market news feed|Customizable dashboard

Cons: Research section could be deeper|Wait times can be long during peak hours

Amateur hour at Web3 (Imposter)

I wanted to transfer my portfolio from another broker to Web3 (Imposter). They said they do not accept in-kind transfers for my asset type. I had to sell, withdraw, deposit, and rebuy - incurring taxes and spread costs. They did not tell me this before I signed up.

Pros: Instant funding|Intuitive for beginners|Two-factor authentication

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months
