The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) alerts the financial services community and the public to a scam in which a firm falsely claims to be regulated by the DFSA. The scammers, through their website ”kalasantro.com” claim to be authorised by the DFSA by:
- stating that “The company operates under regulation and supervision by two reputable authorities: the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) with investment dealer license number A504055”; and
- cloning the DFSA’s Public Register on a fake website (”dubai-certifications-finance.net/firm-426966.html”; and
- using a fake DFSA licence number; and
- Using the DFSA’s name, logo and website without authority.
The DFSA informs you that Kalasantro Ltd is not, nor has it ever been authorised by the DFSA
