This website is falsely purporting to be that of CEX.IO Limited. This website closely resembles that of the genuine firm’s website (https://cex.io/) and so care should be taken not to confuse the two.
https://cex-io.com/ falsely purports to be the website of the genuine registered company to try to convince people that they work for a company legally registered within Gibraltar and authorised by the GFSC. This appears to be a ‘clone company’, and this suspected clone company purports to offer Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) services, specifically an exchange service for several different cryptocurrencies. It appears that https://cex-io.com/ also uses the name of the genuine company and their GFSC authorisation number.
The GFSC notes that this current website address of concern is strikingly similar to that covered by a recent prior warning issued by the GFSC which can be found here.
