The AMF has received several reports that one or more individuals are attempting to extirpate funds from insurance companies through this scheme. The fraudster, who poses as the president of the company concerned, sends an email to his victim, who is actually employed by the company, and tries to convince them to perform certain actions. For example, he may request to transfer funds from one account to another account.
