Unprofessional and unreliable

I found UBS Bank (imposter) based on a colleague's recommendation and the initial impression was positive. But for roughly four months later, I have encountered so many issues that I cannot recommend them. Trades failing, charts not loading, and support tickets going unanswered for days at a time.

Pros: Regular platform improvements|Stable platform|Market news feed

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months

Death of account holder process unknown

I requested my data from UBS Bank (imposter) under GDPR. They sent a partial export that was missing months of transactions. When I asked for the rest they said it was a technical issue. Still waiting. They do not take data rights seriously.

Pros: Excellent charting|Competitive fees|Portfolio tracking tools|Dividend tracking

Cons: No live chat on mobile

Avoid at all costs

After using UBS Bank (imposter) for about three months, I decided to move my account elsewhere. The platform was unreliable, withdrawals took an unreasonable amount of time, and I could never get a straight answer from customer service. Frustrating experience overall.

Pros: Tax reports included|Demo account available

Cons: Research section could be deeper

Disappointing experience overall

I wanted to transfer my portfolio from another broker to UBS Bank (imposter). They said they do not accept in-kind transfers for my asset type. I had to sell, withdraw, deposit, and rebuy - incurring taxes and spread costs. They did not tell me this before I signed up.

Pros: Good mobile app|Stable platform

Cons: None so far|No dark mode on mobile

Market maker conflict

The so-called education at UBS Bank (imposter) is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted since I opened my account last year thinking they would help me learn.

Pros: Clean UI|Professional team|Portfolio tracking tools

Cons: No live chat on mobile

Shocking lack of professionalism

I joined UBS Bank (imposter) after a trusted YouTuber reviewed them and from the start, things felt off. The signup process collected far more personal information than necessary, the verification took unreasonably long, and when I finally got access, the platform was nothing like what was advertised.

Pros: Good analytical tools|Quick verification|Multi-currency support

Cons: Email notifications too frequent

I signed up with UBS Bank (imposter) through a forum discussion and the first red flag was the aggressive account manager who would not stop calling. After depositing, the promised support vanished. Withdrawals are delayed with endless excuses. I have reported them to the regulator.

Pros: Full transparency|Personal attention

Cons: Mobile app could be improved

Customer support at UBS Bank (imposter) seems to be run by people who have never used the platform. Every time I call with an issue, I end up explaining how their own system works before they can help me. It would be funny if my money was not involved.

Pros: Reliable uptime|Good mobile app|Wide product range

Cons: No phone support on weekends|Limited demo account features

Scam alert - They took my money

After doing some research AFTER the fact (I know, I should have done this first), I discovered that UBS Bank (imposter) is not authorized by any legitimate financial regulator. They are operating illegally. The website looks very professional but it's all a facade. Please check the regulatory warnings database before investing with ANY company.

Pros: Professional looking website

Cons: Lost entire investment|Reported to authorities|Unresponsive
