Trade Definity

I have been trying to close my account with Trade Definity for weeks now and they keep giving me the runaround. First it was a form to fill out, then identity verification again, then a mandatory phone call that never gets scheduled. They make leaving impossible.

Do not be fooled by the professional-looking website. Behind the scenes, Trade Definity is disorganized and incompetent. I found them after seeing their ad online and I can only assume the positive reviews are either outdated or paid for because my experience was terrible.

I lost a significant amount because Trade Definity did not execute my stop loss during a flash crash. They said the market was illiquid. Other brokers managed to execute. I have no proof they did not trade against me. Avoid.

For anyone considering Trade Definity, please be aware that this company has been flagged by Financial Conduct Authority. This does not necessarily mean they are a scam, but it does mean they may not be authorized to operate in certain jurisdictions. I strongly recommend checking the official regulator website before making any investment decisions.

After doing some research AFTER the fact (I know, I should have done this first), I discovered that Trade Definity is not authorized by any legitimate financial regulator. They are operating illegally. The website looks very professional but it's all a facade. Please check the regulatory warnings database before investing with ANY company.

I was about to invest with Trade Definity but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Financial Conduct Authority has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

The platform at Trade Definity is riddled with bugs. Charts display incorrect data, order confirmations sometimes fail silently, and the portfolio tracker disagrees with actual positions. After since I opened my account last year of dealing with this, I have had enough.

Trade Definity changed their fee structure with one month notice. What was a flat fee became a percentage. For my account size it meant a huge increase. When I objected they said I could leave. So I am leaving and writing this review.

Trade Definity locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. for nearly two years later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.

I gave Trade Definity a fair chance. After for just over a year of usage, I can say with confidence that there are far better options available. The interface is clunky, the fees are higher than competitors, and the customer support team seems overwhelmed or understaffed.
