I found this company through a friend who recommended it. Before investing, I checked various regulatory databases and found that STRIFOR has been flagged as an unauthorized entity. I informed my friend immediately. Please always verify with official sources - a quick search could save you thousands.

Cons: Not registered with regulators|Unrealistic promises

Regulator has warned about them

I had a dispute with STRIFOR and went to their complaints process. They have an internal team that just defends the company. Then they said I could go to an ombudsman - but the ombudsman they use is industry-funded and rarely rules for the client. The system is rigged.

Pros: API access|Multiple order types

Cons: No live chat on mobile

Withdrawal rejected 3 times

I referred a friend to STRIFOR after doing extensive research. We both deposited. The referral bonus never arrived. Support said we did not meet the terms. When we asked which terms they pointed to a clause that was added after we signed up. Shady.

Pros: Dedicated account manager|Multiple order types

Cons: Search feature is basic|Some tools only available on higher tiers

Demo and live behave differently

I opened an account with STRIFOR for about five months ago. The platform frequently logs you out, orders fail to execute at the stated price, and when you complain they blame your internet connection. I have screenshots proving otherwise.

Pros: High security standards|Economic calendar|Automated trading options|Quick verification

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months|No fractional shares

Email support takes 2 weeks

I lost a significant amount because STRIFOR did not execute my stop loss during a flash crash. They said the market was illiquid. Other brokers managed to execute. I have no proof they did not trade against me. Avoid.

Pros: Portfolio tracking tools|Clear documentation|Customizable dashboard

Cons: None so far

No negative balance protection

My withdrawal request from STRIFOR has been pending for over two weeks now. Every time I contact support, I get the same copy-paste response about processing times. This is unacceptable for a financial platform in this day and age.

Pros: Educational resources|Tax reports included

Cons: Research section could be deeper|Limited ETF selection

Stay far away from this company

I invested $5,000 with STRIFOR after seeing their professional-looking website. At first, everything seemed fine - they showed me impressive returns on my dashboard. But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. I have since reported them to Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores.

Cons: Cannot withdraw funds|Not regulated|Pressure tactics

Not fit for purpose

Do not use STRIFOR for anything serious. I used them for the past six months for small trades and it was okay. When I deposited a larger amount and traded more, my account was flagged, my withdrawals were delayed, and I was asked to explain my trading. They treat active traders like criminals.

Pros: Professional team|High security standards|Customizable dashboard

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months

Introducing broker lied to me

The hidden fees at STRIFOR are the real scandal here. What they advertise and what they actually charge are two different things. By the time I realized how much I was paying in various fees and spreads, I had already lost a meaningful amount.

Pros: Smooth onboarding|Educational resources

Cons: Would like more payment methods|Inactivity fee applies after 12 months
