I opened an account with StackOptions for about ten months ago. The platform frequently logs you out, orders fail to execute at the stated price, and when you complain they blame your internet connection. I have screenshots proving otherwise.

Pros: Stable platform|Quick verification|Easy withdrawals|Competitive fees

Cons: Research section could be deeper

Nothing but problems since day one

I found StackOptions after seeing their ad online and the initial impression was positive. But for a few weeks now later, I have encountered so many issues that I cannot recommend them. Trades failing, charts not loading, and support tickets going unanswered for days at a time.

Pros: Great customer service|Market news feed|Fast deposits

Cons: Limited social trading features|Would like more payment methods

Research is copy-paste from elsewhere

StackOptions had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

Pros: Easy withdrawals|Two-factor authentication|Portfolio tracking tools|Multi-device support

Cons: Would like more payment methods

Shocking lack of professionalism

What really bothers me about StackOptions is the disconnect between their marketing and reality. They position themselves as a premium service but deliver a below-average experience. Found them after my brother mentioned them and I fell for the polished exterior. Never again.

Pros: Detailed reporting|Two-factor authentication|Copy trading available

Cons: Website design could be more modern|Alert system is basic

A company that does not deserve your trust

I am in a dispute with StackOptions over a trade that was clearly erroneous. The price shown was wrong, I closed at a profit, and they reversed the trade and took the money back. They said it was a system error. So I lose and they keep? Unacceptable.

Pros: Real-time alerts|Regular updates|Educational resources

Cons: Search feature is basic

Avoid at all costs

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. StackOptions recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Tax reports included|Fast deposits|Multi-currency support|Reliable uptime

Cons: Live chat only during business hours|None so far

Payout delayed for 60 days

The spread at StackOptions is not what they advertise. During volatile markets it widens so much that you lose before the trade even starts. I found them while looking for alternatives to my previous provider and initially thought the platform was good - until I started trading seriously.

Pros: Responsive team|Portfolio tracking tools|Dividend tracking

Cons: Spreads widen during volatile periods|Limited social trading features

Do not waste your money here

Where do I even begin with StackOptions? for about five months of broken promises, unanswered tickets, and a platform that feels like it was built in 2010. They spend more on marketing than on actually improving their service. Stay away from this company.

Pros: Intuitive for beginners|Regular updates|No hidden fees

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux|Help articles are sometimes vague

Took my money and went silent

After since last summer with StackOptions, I can only describe the experience as death by a thousand cuts. No single issue was catastrophic, but the constant stream of small problems, slow responses, and missing features wore me down until I finally left.

Pros: Excellent charting|Economic calendar|Instant funding

Cons: Mobile app could be improved

Regret choosing StackOptions

The reporting at StackOptions is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

Pros: Fast support response|Regular updates

Cons: Limited ETF selection
