The so-called education at Spreadmarkets is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted since mid-2025 thinking they would help me learn.

Pros: Automated trading options|Detailed reporting|Fast support response

Cons: Limited ETF selection|Nothing significant

Spreadmarkets locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. since early this year later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.

Pros: Demo account available|Helpful community forum|Clear documentation|Dedicated account manager

Cons: None so far

Support ghosted me

The spread at Spreadmarkets is not what they advertise. During volatile markets it widens so much that you lose before the trade even starts. I found them through a financial advisor and initially thought the platform was good - until I started trading seriously.

Pros: Automated trading options|Transparent fees|Two-factor authentication|Easy withdrawals

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months

I was contacted by Spreadmarkets through social media. They promised guaranteed returns of 20-30% monthly. Being naive, I invested. The "account manager" pressured me to invest more and more. When I finally tried to take profit, my account was frozen and they stopped responding. Classic Ponzi/advance fee fraud.

Pros: Professional looking website

Cons: Lost entire investment|Reported to authorities|Unresponsive

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Spreadmarkets recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Transparent fees|Professional team

Cons: Website design could be more modern|Help articles are sometimes vague

Estate planning support zero

The only good thing about Spreadmarkets is that they remind you why regulation matters. I found them after reading several online reviews. They are regulated in a jurisdiction with weak consumer protection. When things went wrong I had nowhere to turn. Stick to well-regulated brokers.

Pros: Full transparency|Segregated accounts|Easy withdrawals|Quick verification

Cons: Email notifications too frequent

Absolutely dreadful

The reporting at Spreadmarkets is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

Pros: Two-factor authentication|Personal attention|Fast deposits

Cons: No integrated tax optimization

I was about to invest with Spreadmarkets but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

Pros: Website looks legitimate on the surface

Cons: Flagged by Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa|Cannot verify credentials
