I closed a profitable position at Sol-Markets / Sol Markets and the profit was not credited for 5 days. Support said it was a settlement delay. When it finally arrived it was less than the amount shown on the platform. They could not explain the difference. I have moved my account.

Pros: Clean UI|No hidden fees|Wide product range

Cons: Cannot customize dashboard fully|Email notifications too frequent

No ESG or ethical investing options

My card was charged twice by Sol-Markets / Sol Markets on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. Sol-Markets / Sol Markets then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.

Pros: Fast execution|Regular platform improvements|Segregated accounts|Fast deposits

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux

Education is just sales pitch

Sol-Markets / Sol Markets had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

Pros: Full transparency|API access

Cons: No dark mode on mobile|Some tools only available on higher tiers

Avoid at all costs

I had a dispute with Sol-Markets / Sol Markets and went to their complaints process. They have an internal team that just defends the company. Then they said I could go to an ombudsman - but the ombudsman they use is industry-funded and rarely rules for the client. The system is rigged.

Pros: Dividend tracking|Automated trading options

Cons: Onboarding videos are outdated|No live chat on mobile

They blocked me after I invested

After doing some research AFTER the fact (I know, I should have done this first), I discovered that Sol-Markets / Sol Markets is not authorized by any legitimate financial regulator. They are operating illegally. The website looks very professional but it's all a facade. Please check the regulatory warnings database before investing with ANY company.

Cons: No regulatory oversight|Money disappeared|Fake testimonials

For anyone considering Sol-Markets / Sol Markets, please be aware that this company has been flagged by Financial Conduct Authority. This does not necessarily mean they are a scam, but it does mean they may not be authorized to operate in certain jurisdictions. I strongly recommend checking the official regulator website before making any investment decisions.

Cons: Appears in regulatory warnings database|Uncertain regulatory status

Beware - This company is not legitimate

I invested $3,500 with Sol-Markets / Sol Markets after seeing their professional-looking website. At first, everything seemed fine - they showed me impressive returns on my dashboard. But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. I have since reported them to Financial Conduct Authority.

Cons: Cannot withdraw funds|Not regulated|Pressure tactics

Not regulated - verified this myself

I was about to invest with Sol-Markets / Sol Markets but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Financial Conduct Authority has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

Pros: Website looks legitimate on the surface

Cons: Not registered with regulators|Unrealistic promises

Support ghosted me

Sol-Markets / Sol Markets advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

Pros: Demo account available|Fast execution

Cons: Email notifications too frequent|Account statements could be more detailed
