Safegold Assets

For anyone considering Safegold Assets, please be aware that this company has been flagged by Financial Markets Authority. This does not necessarily mean they are a scam, but it does mean they may not be authorized to operate in certain jurisdictions. I strongly recommend checking the official regulator website before making any investment decisions.

I signed up with Safegold Assets from a blog post comparing services and the first red flag was the aggressive account manager who would not stop calling. After depositing, the promised support vanished. Withdrawals are delayed with endless excuses. I have reported them to the regulator.

After spending for the past six months trying to make Safegold Assets work for me, I have given up. The platform has too many limitations, the fees are not competitive, and the quality of their market data is questionable. There are much better options available.

Tried to withdraw my funds from Safegold Assets and was told I needed to pay a "withdrawal tax" of 20%. This is a red flag. No legitimate broker charges withdrawal taxes. When I refused, they became aggressive and eventually stopped all communication. My entire investment is gone.

I wanted to transfer my portfolio from another broker to Safegold Assets. They said they do not accept in-kind transfers for my asset type. I had to sell, withdraw, deposit, and rebuy - incurring taxes and spread costs. They did not tell me this before I signed up.

The hidden fees at Safegold Assets are the real scandal here. What they advertise and what they actually charge are two different things. By the time I realized how much I was paying in various fees and spreads, I had already lost a meaningful amount.

I gave Safegold Assets a fair chance. After for a couple of months now of usage, I can say with confidence that there are far better options available. The interface is clunky, the fees are higher than competitors, and the customer support team seems overwhelmed or understaffed.

The so-called education at Safegold Assets is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for the past six months thinking they would help me learn.

Safegold Assets locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. since I opened my account last year later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.

Safegold Assets changed their fee structure with one month notice. What was a flat fee became a percentage. For my account size it meant a huge increase. When I objected they said I could leave. So I am leaving and writing this review.
