RIVER (Imposter) seems more interested in acquiring new customers than taking care of existing ones. The marketing is aggressive but the product is mediocre. Once you are past the honeymoon period, the cracks in their service become very apparent.

What really bothers me about RIVER (Imposter) is the disconnect between their marketing and reality. They position themselves as a premium service but deliver a below-average experience. Found them after hearing about them at a conference and I fell for the polished exterior. Never again.

Do not believe the bonus offer from RIVER (Imposter). The turnover requirement is designed so you can never withdraw. I learned the hard way. I deposited through word of mouth in my investment club and the bonus terms were buried in pages of small print. My fault for not reading but their design is predatory.

I referred a friend to RIVER (Imposter) through a financial advisor. We both deposited. The referral bonus never arrived. Support said we did not meet the terms. When we asked which terms they pointed to a clause that was added after we signed up. Shady.

The reporting at RIVER (Imposter) is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. The platform at RIVER (Imposter) is riddled with bugs. Charts display incorrect data, order confirmations sometimes fail silently, and the portfolio tracker disagrees with actual positions. After for nearly two years of dealing with this, I have had enough.

Several red flags with RIVER (Imposter): (1) They promise unrealistically high returns, (2) They're not registered with Financial Markets Authority, (3) Their contact information is vague, (4) They pressure you to deposit quickly. I recommend everyone do thorough due diligence before investing with any company.

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. RIVER (Imposter) recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.
