An exercise in frustration

I closed a profitable position at Parker Jennings and the profit was not credited for 5 days. Support said it was a settlement delay. When it finally arrived it was less than the amount shown on the platform. They could not explain the difference. I have moved my account.

Pros: Personal attention|Excellent charting

Cons: Limited social trading features

They have gotten worse over time

Parker Jennings has the worst mobile app I have ever used for investing. It crashes constantly, features that work on desktop are missing entirely, and the security implementation is questionable at best. How they released this app is beyond me.

Do not believe the bonus offer from Parker Jennings. The turnover requirement is designed so you can never withdraw. I learned the hard way. I deposited after reading several online reviews and the bonus terms were buried in pages of small print. My fault for not reading but their design is predatory.

I had a dispute with Parker Jennings and went to their complaints process. They have an internal team that just defends the company. Then they said I could go to an ombudsman - but the ombudsman they use is industry-funded and rarely rules for the client. The system is rigged.
