The only good thing about OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS is that they remind you why regulation matters. I found them after attending a webinar they hosted. They are regulated in a jurisdiction with weak consumer protection. When things went wrong I had nowhere to turn. Stick to well-regulated brokers.

Do not be fooled by the professional-looking website. Behind the scenes, OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS is disorganized and incompetent. I found them through my accountant's suggestion and I can only assume the positive reviews are either outdated or paid for because my experience was terrible.

Customer support at OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS seems to be run by people who have never used the platform. Every time I call with an issue, I end up explaining how their own system works before they can help me. It would be funny if my money was not involved.

Do not believe the bonus offer from OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS. The turnover requirement is designed so you can never withdraw. I learned the hard way. I deposited after hearing about them at a conference and the bonus terms were buried in pages of small print. My fault for not reading but their design is predatory.

My card was charged twice by OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.

After doing some research AFTER the fact (I know, I should have done this first), I discovered that OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS is not authorized by any legitimate financial regulator. They are operating illegally. The website looks very professional but it's all a facade. Please check the regulatory warnings database before investing with ANY company.

OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS changed their fee structure with one month notice. What was a flat fee became a percentage. For my account size it meant a huge increase. When I objected they said I could leave. So I am leaving and writing this review.

I requested my data from OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS under GDPR. They sent a partial export that was missing months of transactions. When I asked for the rest they said it was a technical issue. Still waiting. They do not take data rights seriously.

Their execution during news is terrible. I had limit orders in place. When the news hit, my orders were not filled at the limit price - they were filled much worse. OPTIMAL PATH GROUPS said it was market conditions. Same news, another broker filled me properly. They are not honest.
