This company appears on the IOSCO I-SCAN international warnings list. Over 68 financial regulators worldwide contribute to this database. While being listed doesn't automatically mean fraud, it's a significant red flag that potential investors should take seriously. Do your research thoroughly.

My card was charged twice by NYC MARKETS on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. NYC MARKETS then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.

Pros: Dividend tracking|Good analytical tools|Clean UI

Cons: None so far

Checked with regulators - they're not licensed

I was about to invest with NYC MARKETS but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

Cons: Unauthorized firm|Found in IOSCO warnings database

I invested $2,000 with NYC MARKETS after seeing their professional-looking website. At first, everything seemed fine - they showed me impressive returns on my dashboard. But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. I have since reported them to Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier.

Pros: Professional looking website

Cons: Lost entire investment|Reported to authorities|Unresponsive

Pushed structured products

What really bothers me about NYC MARKETS is the disconnect between their marketing and reality. They position themselves as a premium service but deliver a below-average experience. Found them after my brother mentioned them and I fell for the polished exterior. Never again.

Pros: Clear documentation|Risk management tools|Multi-device support

Cons: No dark mode on mobile
