Meta Partners

I wanted to transfer my portfolio from another broker to Meta Partners. They said they do not accept in-kind transfers for my asset type. I had to sell, withdraw, deposit, and rebuy - incurring taxes and spread costs. They did not tell me this before I signed up.

I found Meta Partners after my brother mentioned them and the initial impression was positive. But for roughly four months later, I have encountered so many issues that I cannot recommend them. Trades failing, charts not loading, and support tickets going unanswered for days at a time.

My withdrawal from Meta Partners was rejected three times for vague reasons. Each time they asked for more documents. When I finally provided everything, they said my account was under review. for about eight months of being strung along.

The so-called education at Meta Partners is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for the past six months thinking they would help me learn.

I was about to invest with Meta Partners but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

I am in a dispute with Meta Partners over a trade that was clearly erroneous. The price shown was wrong, I closed at a profit, and they reversed the trade and took the money back. They said it was a system error. So I lose and they keep? Unacceptable.

Customer support at Meta Partners seems to be run by people who have never used the platform. Every time I call with an issue, I end up explaining how their own system works before they can help me. It would be funny if my money was not involved.

I strongly recommend checking the official regulator website before making any investment decisions.

The reporting at Meta Partners is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

Meta Partners has no proper customer support. The live chat is a bot. The phone number goes to a call center that cannot access your account. Email takes two weeks. When I had a real problem they were nowhere to be found.
