Itochu Capital

Itochu Capital changed their fee structure with one month notice. What was a flat fee became a percentage. For my account size it meant a huge increase. When I objected they said I could leave. So I am leaving and writing this review.

I signed up with Itochu Capital after hearing about them at a conference and the first red flag was the aggressive account manager who would not stop calling. After depositing, the promised support vanished. Withdrawals are delayed with endless excuses. I have reported them to the regulator.

The platform at Itochu Capital is riddled with bugs. Charts display incorrect data, order confirmations sometimes fail silently, and the portfolio tracker disagrees with actual positions. After for over three years of dealing with this, I have had enough.

Itochu Capital locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. for the past six months later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.

The hidden fees at Itochu Capital are the real scandal here. What they advertise and what they actually charge are two different things. By the time I realized how much I was paying in various fees and spreads, I had already lost a meaningful amount.

After for over a year with Itochu Capital, I can only describe the experience as death by a thousand cuts. No single issue was catastrophic, but the constant stream of small problems, slow responses, and missing features wore me down until I finally left.

The so-called education at Itochu Capital is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for over three years thinking they would help me learn.

I closed a profitable position at Itochu Capital and the profit was not credited for 5 days. Support said it was a settlement delay. When it finally arrived it was less than the amount shown on the platform. They could not explain the difference. I have moved my account.

Itochu Capital advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

My card was charged twice by Itochu Capital on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. Itochu Capital then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.
