Inefex

I was about to invest with Inefex but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Capital Market Authority has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

The platform at Inefex is riddled with bugs. Charts display incorrect data, order confirmations sometimes fail silently, and the portfolio tracker disagrees with actual positions. After since early this year of dealing with this, I have had enough.

Inefex had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

I signed up with Inefex through word of mouth in my investment club and the first red flag was the aggressive account manager who would not stop calling. After depositing, the promised support vanished. Withdrawals are delayed with endless excuses. I have reported them to the regulator.

Tried to withdraw my funds from Inefex and was told I needed to pay a "withdrawal tax" of 20%. This is a red flag. No legitimate broker charges withdrawal taxes. When I refused, they became aggressive and eventually stopped all communication. My entire investment is gone.

I opened an account with Inefex for about five months ago. The platform frequently logs you out, orders fail to execute at the stated price, and when you complain they blame your internet connection. I have screenshots proving otherwise.

Inefex advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Inefex recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.
