If you are reading this considering Greenwich Asia - run. I wish I had read more negative reviews when my bank disappointed me and I searched for alternatives. I thought the positive ones were real. Maybe some are. My experience over for about eight months has been so bad I feel obligated to warn others. Do not make my mistake.

Pros: Competitive fees|Clean UI

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux|Some tools only available on higher tiers

Social trading is fake

The only good thing about Greenwich Asia is that they remind you why regulation matters. I found them after a family member had a good experience. They are regulated in a jurisdiction with weak consumer protection. When things went wrong I had nowhere to turn. Stick to well-regulated brokers.

Pros: Professional team|API access|Risk management tools

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux

No investor compensation scheme

The reporting at Greenwich Asia is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

Pros: Reliable uptime|Segregated accounts|Social trading features|Market news feed

Cons: Withdrawal takes 1-2 business days|Search feature is basic

Do not waste your money here

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Greenwich Asia recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Multiple order types|Automated trading options|Market news feed|Multi-currency support

Cons: Minimum deposit could be lower

Just terrible honestly

Do not be fooled by the professional-looking website. Behind the scenes, Greenwich Asia is disorganized and incompetent. I found them through a financial advisor and I can only assume the positive reviews are either outdated or paid for because my experience was terrible.

Pros: Detailed reporting|No hidden fees|Multi-device support

Cons: Email notifications too frequent

Look elsewhere - many better options

After using Greenwich Asia for about eight months, I decided to move my account elsewhere. The platform was unreliable, withdrawals took an unreasonable amount of time, and I could never get a straight answer from customer service. Frustrating experience overall.

Pros: Low minimum deposit|Good mobile app|Smooth onboarding

Cons: No phone support on weekends

I warn everyone I know

The so-called education at Greenwich Asia is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted since I retired last year thinking they would help me learn.

Pros: Helpful community forum|Customizable dashboard|Fast execution|Responsive team

Cons: No crypto staking|No phone support on weekends

Please save yourself the headache

Greenwich Asia locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. for a couple of months now later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.

Pros: Copy trading available|Educational resources

Cons: Minimum deposit could be lower|Minor UI glitches occasionally

Server in wrong region high latency

Greenwich Asia changed their fee structure with one month notice. What was a flat fee became a percentage. For my account size it meant a huge increase. When I objected they said I could leave. So I am leaving and writing this review.

Pros: No hidden fees|API access|Great customer service|Market news feed

Cons: Wish they had more educational resources
