If you're just looking to buy and hold crypto long-term, Gemini is fine. The security gives me peace of mind. But for active trading, the interface isn't great - limited order types, basic charting, and higher fees compared to dedicated trading platforms. Use it for what it's good at.

The hidden fees at Gemini are the real scandal here. What they advertise and what they actually charge are two different things. By the time I realized how much I was paying in various fees and spreads, I had already lost a meaningful amount.

I am in a dispute with Gemini over a trade that was clearly erroneous. The price shown was wrong, I closed at a profit, and they reversed the trade and took the money back. They said it was a system error. So I lose and they keep? Unacceptable.
