Fortis Equity & Reserve locked my account without warning and demanded documents I had already submitted. for about ten months later I still do not have access to my funds. Their compliance team does not respond to emails. I am considering legal action.

Pros: Dedicated account manager|Regular updates

Cons: Limited cryptocurrency options

No 2FA when I signed up

KYC with Fortis Equity & Reserve is a nightmare. I submitted my ID and proof of address. They rejected it and asked for a utility bill. I sent it. They asked for a bank statement. Then they asked for a selfie with the ID. Then they said the selfie did not match. I gave up.

Pros: Excellent charting|Demo account available|Wide product range|No hidden fees

Cons: Alert system is basic|No crypto staking

Crypto only no stocks

I gave Fortis Equity & Reserve a fair chance. After for about five months of usage, I can say with confidence that there are far better options available. The interface is clunky, the fees are higher than competitors, and the customer support team seems overwhelmed or understaffed.

Pros: Quick verification|API access|Multi-currency support|Tax reports included

Cons: Search feature is basic|Live chat only during business hours

I invested $2,000 with Fortis Equity & Reserve after seeing their professional-looking website. At first, everything seemed fine - they showed me impressive returns on my dashboard. But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. I have since reported them to Financial Conduct Authority.

Cons: Lost entire investment|Reported to authorities|Unresponsive

Rollover requirements are insane

After using Fortis Equity & Reserve for over three years, I decided to move my account elsewhere. The platform was unreliable, withdrawals took an unreasonable amount of time, and I could never get a straight answer from customer service. Frustrating experience overall.

Pros: Easy withdrawals|Portfolio tracking tools

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months

Demo and live behave differently

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Fortis Equity & Reserve recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Personal attention|Easy withdrawals|Tax reports included

Cons: None so far|Would like more payment methods

Proceed with extreme caution

After seeing ads for Fortis Equity & Reserve online, I investigated. The company is listed in the IOSCO I-SCAN warnings database and has been flagged by Financial Conduct Authority. Their website looks professional but that means nothing - many scam operations invest heavily in appearance. Always check the regulatory warnings before investing.

Cons: Not registered with regulators|Unrealistic promises

Terrible in every aspect

What really bothers me about Fortis Equity & Reserve is the disconnect between their marketing and reality. They position themselves as a premium service but deliver a below-average experience. Found them after a family member had a good experience and I fell for the polished exterior. Never again.

Pros: Segregated accounts|Low minimum deposit|Real-time alerts

Cons: Minimum deposit could be lower|Charting tools need more indicators
