Learning experience at my expense

The so-called education at Equaledge (equaledge.com) is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for about eight months thinking they would help me learn.

Pros: Smooth onboarding|Clean UI|Tax reports included

Cons: Would like more payment methods

Closure fee on top of everything

After spending since early this year trying to make Equaledge (equaledge.com) work for me, I have given up. The platform has too many limitations, the fees are not competitive, and the quality of their market data is questionable. There are much better options available.

Pros: Good mobile app|Professional team|Wide product range

Cons: No integrated tax optimization|Slow to add new assets

CFD pitch was aggressive

I had high hopes for Equaledge (equaledge.com) after hearing about them at a conference, but my experience has been disappointing. Customer support is slow, the platform has frequent issues, and their fee structure is not as transparent as advertised. I am actively looking for alternatives now.

Pros: Customizable dashboard|Good analytical tools|Dividend tracking

Cons: Alert system is basic|Desktop app not available on Linux

Account locked for no reason

The onboarding at Equaledge (equaledge.com) was smooth which makes the subsequent experience even more frustrating. Once they have your money, the quality of service drops dramatically. Getting anyone to help you with an actual problem is nearly impossible.

Pros: Portfolio tracking tools|Good mobile app|Segregated accounts|Fast support response

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux|Onboarding videos are outdated

Copy trading copied the worst traders

After for over a year with Equaledge (equaledge.com) I requested to close my account and withdraw. They said I had to complete a 30-day cooling-off period. Then they said there was a minimum holding period for my last deposit. They make it as hard as possible to leave.

Pros: Great customer service|API access

Cons: Email notifications too frequent

Account manager disappeared after deposit

My card was charged twice by Equaledge (equaledge.com) on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. Equaledge (equaledge.com) then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.

Pros: Stable platform|Great customer service|Intuitive for beginners|Comprehensive tools

Cons: Minimum deposit could be lower

How are they still in business

I referred a friend to Equaledge (equaledge.com) after a friend recommended them. We both deposited. The referral bonus never arrived. Support said we did not meet the terms. When we asked which terms they pointed to a clause that was added after we signed up. Shady.

Pros: Dividend tracking|Clear documentation|Full transparency|Two-factor authentication

Cons: Email notifications too frequent|No dark mode on mobile

Same issues as parent brand

What really bothers me about Equaledge (equaledge.com) is the disconnect between their marketing and reality. They position themselves as a premium service but deliver a below-average experience. Found them through a forum discussion and I fell for the polished exterior. Never again.

Pros: Educational resources|Comprehensive tools|Easy to use platform

Cons: Limited ETF selection|Limited social trading features

Frustrating from start to finish

The only good thing about Equaledge (equaledge.com) is that they remind you why regulation matters. I found them after a trusted YouTuber reviewed them. They are regulated in a jurisdiction with weak consumer protection. When things went wrong I had nowhere to turn. Stick to well-regulated brokers.

Pros: Fast execution|Real-time alerts

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux|Withdrawal takes 1-2 business days
