Lost trust after my experience

The only good thing about Economic Literacy is that they remind you why regulation matters. I found them through a podcast recommendation. They are regulated in a jurisdiction with weak consumer protection. When things went wrong I had nowhere to turn. Stick to well-regulated brokers.

Pros: Stable platform|Customizable dashboard|Good analytical tools

Cons: Limited ETF selection|Search feature is basic

Slippage ate my profits

The reporting at Economic Literacy is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

Pros: Customizable dashboard|Tax reports included|Excellent charting|Dedicated account manager

Cons: Website design could be more modern

They have gotten worse over time

Where do I even begin with Economic Literacy? since last summer of broken promises, unanswered tickets, and a platform that feels like it was built in 2010. They spend more on marketing than on actually improving their service. Stay away from this company.

Pros: Intuitive for beginners|Fast deposits|Good analytical tools|Detailed reporting

Cons: Spreads widen during volatile periods|Onboarding videos are outdated

They blocked me after I invested

I was contacted by Economic Literacy through social media. They promised guaranteed returns of 20-30% monthly. Being naive, I invested. The "account manager" pressured me to invest more and more. When I finally tried to take profit, my account was frozen and they stopped responding. Classic Ponzi/advance fee fraud.

Cons: Withdrawal fees demanded|Communication cut off|Not authorized

Feeling robbed honestly

KYC with Economic Literacy is a nightmare. I submitted my ID and proof of address. They rejected it and asked for a utility bill. I sent it. They asked for a bank statement. Then they asked for a selfie with the ID. Then they said the selfie did not match. I gave up.

Pros: Great customer service|Low minimum deposit

Cons: Currency conversion fee exists

Inactive account fee with no warning

The onboarding at Economic Literacy was smooth which makes the subsequent experience even more frustrating. Once they have your money, the quality of service drops dramatically. Getting anyone to help you with an actual problem is nearly impossible.

Pros: Quick verification|Fast execution|Instant funding|API access

Cons: No fractional shares

This company appears on the IOSCO I-SCAN international warnings list. Over 68 financial regulators worldwide contribute to this database. While being listed doesn't automatically mean fraud, it's a significant red flag that potential investors should take seriously. Do your research thoroughly.

Cons: Flagged by international regulators|Due diligence required

Trust broken beyond repair

After for the past six months with Economic Literacy I requested to close my account and withdraw. They said I had to complete a 30-day cooling-off period. Then they said there was a minimum holding period for my last deposit. They make it as hard as possible to leave.

Pros: Detailed reporting|Social trading features|Responsive team|Easy to use platform

Cons: No integrated tax optimization|Help articles are sometimes vague

Lost money due to their incompetence

The so-called education at Economic Literacy is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for about eight months thinking they would help me learn.

Pros: Easy to use platform|Demo account available|Comprehensive tools

Cons: Research section could be deeper|Onboarding videos are outdated

Not regulated - verified this myself

After seeing ads for Economic Literacy online, I investigated. The company is listed in the IOSCO I-SCAN warnings database and has been flagged by Financial Conduct Authority. Their website looks professional but that means nothing - many scam operations invest heavily in appearance. Always check the regulatory warnings before investing.

Cons: Flagged by Financial Conduct Authority|Cannot verify credentials
