Cannot withdraw funds - classic scam

Tried to withdraw my funds from CorporatePairs and was told I needed to pay a "withdrawal tax" of 20%. This is a red flag. No legitimate broker charges withdrawal taxes. When I refused, they became aggressive and eventually stopped all communication. My entire investment is gone.

Cons: Lost entire investment|Reported to authorities|Unresponsive

I want to warn everyone about CorporatePairs. They have been flagged by British Columbia Securities Commission as an unauthorized entity. I wish I had checked before investing. They use high-pressure sales tactics and fake testimonials. Once you send money, getting it back is nearly impossible.

Pros: Initially responsive customer service

Cons: Blocked my account|No legitimate license|Fake returns

Do not be fooled by the professional-looking website. Behind the scenes, CorporatePairs is disorganized and incompetent. I found them after seeing their ad online and I can only assume the positive reviews are either outdated or paid for because my experience was terrible.

Pros: Instant funding|Personal attention

Cons: No phone support on weekends

Ombudsman said they are uncooperative

I referred a friend to CorporatePairs through a forum discussion. We both deposited. The referral bonus never arrived. Support said we did not meet the terms. When we asked which terms they pointed to a clause that was added after we signed up. Shady.

Pros: Good mobile app|Wide product range|Good analytical tools|Reliable uptime

Cons: Minimum deposit could be lower|Mobile app could be improved

Data lost in transition

The platform itself is okay, but the customer service at CorporatePairs is truly awful. I waited weeks for a response to a simple inquiry. When they did respond, it felt like a generic template that did not address my specific issue at all.

Pros: Comprehensive tools|Risk management tools|Easy withdrawals|Good analytical tools

Cons: Website design could be more modern

For anyone considering CorporatePairs, please be aware that this company has been flagged by British Columbia Securities Commission. This does not necessarily mean they are a scam, but it does mean they may not be authorized to operate in certain jurisdictions. I strongly recommend checking the official regulator website before making any investment decisions.

I was about to invest with CorporatePairs but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. British Columbia Securities Commission has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

Pros: Website looks legitimate on the surface

Cons: Flagged by British Columbia Securities Commission|Cannot verify credentials

KYC with CorporatePairs is a nightmare. I submitted my ID and proof of address. They rejected it and asked for a utility bill. I sent it. They asked for a bank statement. Then they asked for a selfie with the ID. Then they said the selfie did not match. I gave up.

Pros: Fast execution|Great customer service

Cons: Nothing significant|Limited demo account features

Arbitration clause traps you

CorporatePairs had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

Pros: Real-time alerts|Multiple order types

Cons: No dark mode on mobile|No live chat on mobile

Do not believe the hype

CorporatePairs has no proper customer support. The live chat is a bot. The phone number goes to a call center that cannot access your account. Email takes two weeks. When I had a real problem they were nowhere to be found.

Pros: No hidden fees|Wide product range|Dedicated account manager|Good mobile app

Cons: Alert system is basic
