I opened an account with Citrades since I retired last year ago. The platform frequently logs you out, orders fail to execute at the stated price, and when you complain they blame your internet connection. I have screenshots proving otherwise.

Pros: Professional team|Market news feed|Good mobile app|Easy withdrawals

Cons: Email notifications too frequent|Limited demo account features

My account was compromised and they did nothing

I experienced a security concern with my Citrades account and reported it immediately. Their response time was inexcusable for a financial platform. It took them four days to acknowledge my report and another week to actually address it.

Pros: Economic calendar|Clean UI|Excellent charting

Cons: Some tools only available on higher tiers

Regulatory warning ignored

Citrades has no proper customer support. The live chat is a bot. The phone number goes to a call center that cannot access your account. Email takes two weeks. When I had a real problem they were nowhere to be found.

Pros: Tax reports included|Wide product range|Easy to use platform

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months|Limited cryptocurrency options

I have filed a complaint

Opened my account with Citrades from a review site like this one and regretted it within the first month. The platform crashed during a critical moment, I lost potential gains, and support basically told me it was not their problem. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

Pros: Low minimum deposit|Good analytical tools

Cons: Live chat only during business hours|No crypto staking

Migration from old platform was a mess

My card was charged twice by Citrades on the same day. I had to dispute it with my bank. Citrades then froze my account and said I had a negative balance because of the chargeback. They created the problem and then punished me for it.

Pros: Two-factor authentication|Transparent fees

Cons: Could offer more webinars|Cannot customize dashboard fully

No API for automated trading

The reporting at Citrades is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

Pros: Helpful community forum|Competitive fees|Multi-device support|Educational resources

Cons: Would like more payment methods

A sinking ship

I joined Citrades after my brother mentioned them and from the start, things felt off. The signup process collected far more personal information than necessary, the verification took unreasonably long, and when I finally got access, the platform was nothing like what was advertised.

Pros: Multi-currency support|Comprehensive tools|Instant funding

Cons: None so far

Documents rejected repeatedly

Citrades has the worst mobile app I have ever used for investing. It crashes constantly, features that work on desktop are missing entirely, and the security implementation is questionable at best. How they released this app is beyond me.

Pros: Automated trading options|Multi-device support|Multi-currency support

Cons: Cannot customize dashboard fully|Withdrawal takes 1-2 business days

System failures and silence from support

The hidden fees at Citrades are the real scandal here. What they advertise and what they actually charge are two different things. By the time I realized how much I was paying in various fees and spreads, I had already lost a meaningful amount.

Pros: Risk management tools|Regular platform improvements

Cons: None so far|Alert system is basic

Learning experience at my expense

I wanted to transfer my portfolio from another broker to Citrades. They said they do not accept in-kind transfers for my asset type. I had to sell, withdraw, deposit, and rebuy - incurring taxes and spread costs. They did not tell me this before I signed up.

Pros: Comprehensive tools|Dividend tracking

Cons: Charting tools need more indicators
