I trusted Capital505 (capital505.com) with a significant portion of my savings and I deeply regret that decision. Not because of market losses, but because of how poorly the platform performed and how dismissively the support team treated my concerns.

Pros: Great customer service|Regular updates

Cons: Mobile app could be improved|Currency conversion fee exists

Completely disorganized operation

I had high hopes for Capital505 (capital505.com) from a blog post comparing services, but my experience has been disappointing. Customer support is slow, the platform has frequent issues, and their fee structure is not as transparent as advertised. I am actively looking for alternatives now.

Pros: Responsive team|Portfolio tracking tools|Dividend tracking

Cons: No integrated tax optimization|No phone support on weekends

Frustrating from start to finish

If you are reading this considering Capital505 (capital505.com) - run. I wish I had read more negative reviews after comparing multiple platforms. I thought the positive ones were real. Maybe some are. My experience over for about five months has been so bad I feel obligated to warn others. Do not make my mistake.

Pros: Customizable dashboard|Portfolio tracking tools|Multi-device support|Quick verification

Cons: Spreads widen during volatile periods

Fraudulent fee structure

Capital505 (capital505.com) offers copy trading. I copied a top trader. The copy trades often executed at worse prices than the original. When I asked why they said it was due to latency and liquidity. So the feature is broken or they are skimming. Either way I stopped using it.

Pros: Risk management tools|Responsive team|Good analytical tools|Portfolio tracking tools

Cons: Cannot customize dashboard fully|Limited cryptocurrency options

Unacceptable level of service

Do not use Capital505 (capital505.com) for anything serious. I used them for about five months for small trades and it was okay. When I deposited a larger amount and traded more, my account was flagged, my withdrawals were delayed, and I was asked to explain my trading. They treat active traders like criminals.

Pros: Smooth onboarding|Multiple order types|Two-factor authentication|Dividend tracking

Cons: No live chat on mobile

Data breach and they did not notify us

Capital505 (capital505.com) had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

Pros: Excellent charting|Market news feed|Good analytical tools|Copy trading available

Cons: Alert system is basic|Limited demo account features

No ESG or ethical investing options

Their execution during news is terrible. I had limit orders in place. When the news hit, my orders were not filled at the limit price - they were filled much worse. Capital505 (capital505.com) said it was market conditions. Same news, another broker filled me properly. They are not honest.

Pros: Multiple order types|Multi-device support|Stable platform|Good analytical tools

Cons: Website design could be more modern

No beneficiary designation

The only good thing about Capital505 (capital505.com) is that they remind you why regulation matters. I found them after reading several online reviews. They are regulated in a jurisdiction with weak consumer protection. When things went wrong I had nowhere to turn. Stick to well-regulated brokers.

Pros: Demo account available|Multi-currency support|Two-factor authentication

Cons: Limited ETF selection

No TradingView integration

Capital505 (capital505.com) has no proper customer support. The live chat is a bot. The phone number goes to a call center that cannot access your account. Email takes two weeks. When I had a real problem they were nowhere to be found.

Pros: Helpful community forum|Social trading features|Automated trading options

Cons: Account statements could be more detailed|Limited demo account features

Research is copy-paste from elsewhere

Capital505 (capital505.com) advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

Pros: Good mobile app|Segregated accounts

Cons: No crypto staking|Limited demo account features
