I never thought I'd be enthusiastic about an insurance company but Canada Life exceeded all expectations. When I needed to make a claim after a burglary, the process was smooth, the assessor was fair, and the payout was processed within 10 days. Communication throughout was excellent. That's exactly what you pay insurance for.

I compared dozens of quotes and Canada Life offered the best balance of coverage and price. The policy wording is clear about what's included and excluded, which I appreciate. Haven't had to claim yet but the reviews from others who have give me confidence. Easy to recommend.

Paid premiums to Canada Life for years without any issues. When I finally needed to make a legitimate claim, they found every possible reason to reduce the payout. The process took three months, involved multiple assessors, and the final settlement was far less than the replacement value. Very disappointing.

My initial quote from Canada Life was very competitive. However, the renewal price was 30% higher with no claims made. Had to phone and negotiate to get a reasonable price. The policy itself is fine but the practice of inflating renewal prices is frustrating and feels dishonest.
