BitVex had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

Pros: Smooth onboarding|Dedicated account manager|Fast execution

Cons: Charting tools need more indicators

Nothing works as advertised

BitVex advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

Pros: Easy to use platform|Economic calendar|Market news feed|Dividend tracking

Cons: Limited demo account features|No integrated tax optimization

Incompetent on every level

I lost a significant amount because BitVex did not execute my stop loss during a flash crash. They said the market was illiquid. Other brokers managed to execute. I have no proof they did not trade against me. Avoid.

Pros: Demo account available|Transparent fees|No hidden fees|Dividend tracking

Cons: Website design could be more modern|Onboarding videos are outdated

I was contacted by BitVex through social media. They promised guaranteed returns of 20-30% monthly. Being naive, I invested. The "account manager" pressured me to invest more and more. When I finally tried to take profit, my account was frozen and they stopped responding. Classic Ponzi/advance fee fraud.

Cons: Lost entire investment|Reported to authorities|Unresponsive

A total embarrassment of a platform

My withdrawal from BitVex was rejected three times for vague reasons. Each time they asked for more documents. When I finally provided everything, they said my account was under review. for about ten months of being strung along.

Pros: Instant funding|Wide product range

Cons: Help articles are sometimes vague

A masterclass in how not to run a business

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. BitVex recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Easy to use platform|Reliable uptime|Smooth onboarding

Cons: Spreads widen during volatile periods|Limited social trading features

Conversion fees hidden

KYC with BitVex is a nightmare. I submitted my ID and proof of address. They rejected it and asked for a utility bill. I sent it. They asked for a bank statement. Then they asked for a selfie with the ID. Then they said the selfie did not match. I gave up.

Pros: Clean UI|Social trading features|Dedicated account manager|Two-factor authentication

Cons: Limited social trading features|Cannot customize dashboard fully

Platform freezes when you need it most

The platform at BitVex is riddled with bugs. Charts display incorrect data, order confirmations sometimes fail silently, and the portfolio tracker disagrees with actual positions. After for about five months of dealing with this, I have had enough.

Pros: Risk management tools|Good analytical tools|Social trading features|Economic calendar

Cons: No crypto staking|Help articles are sometimes vague

The mobile app from BitVex is dangerous. I placed an order that showed as pending, so I placed another. Both executed and I was overexposed. When I complained they said it was user error. The app design is misleading.

Pros: Dedicated account manager|Customizable dashboard

Cons: Email notifications too frequent|Limited demo account features
