Scam alert - They took my money

I was contacted by Bitunix through social media. They promised guaranteed returns of 20-30% monthly. Being naive, I invested. The "account manager" pressured me to invest more and more. When I finally tried to take profit, my account was frozen and they stopped responding. Classic Ponzi/advance fee fraud.

Cons: Withdrawal fees demanded|Communication cut off|Not authorized

Mobile app loses orders

I opened an account with Bitunix for the past year and a half ago. The platform frequently logs you out, orders fail to execute at the stated price, and when you complain they blame your internet connection. I have screenshots proving otherwise.

Pros: Educational resources|Transparent fees

Cons: Charting tools need more indicators|Live chat only during business hours

An absolutely appalling service

Customer support at Bitunix seems to be run by people who have never used the platform. Every time I call with an issue, I end up explaining how their own system works before they can help me. It would be funny if my money was not involved.

Pros: Good analytical tools|API access|Dividend tracking

Cons: No dark mode on mobile|Inactivity fee applies after 12 months

Inactive account fee with no warning

After for just over a year with Bitunix I requested to close my account and withdraw. They said I had to complete a 30-day cooling-off period. Then they said there was a minimum holding period for my last deposit. They make it as hard as possible to leave.

Pros: Professional team|Multi-currency support

Cons: Live chat only during business hours

Proceed with extreme caution

Several red flags with Bitunix: (1) They promise unrealistically high returns, (2) They're not registered with Securities Commission, (3) Their contact information is vague, (4) They pressure you to deposit quickly. I recommend everyone do thorough due diligence before investing with any company.

Pros: Website looks legitimate on the surface

Cons: Flagged by Securities Commission|Cannot verify credentials

Lost money due to their incompetence

Bitunix had an outage that lasted several hours during a major market event. Not only did they fail to prevent it, but they also failed to communicate what was happening. We were left in the dark while our investments were at risk.

Pros: Good analytical tools|Copy trading available

Cons: Desktop app not available on Linux|Limited social trading features

Estate planning support zero

The platform itself is okay, but the customer service at Bitunix is truly awful. I waited weeks for a response to a simple inquiry. When they did respond, it felt like a generic template that did not address my specific issue at all.

Pros: High security standards|Stable platform

Cons: Email notifications too frequent|Search feature is basic

Impossible to get real help

I found Bitunix from a blog post comparing services and the initial impression was positive. But for over a year later, I have encountered so many issues that I cannot recommend them. Trades failing, charts not loading, and support tickets going unanswered for days at a time.

Pros: Risk management tools|Reliable uptime|Fast support response|Full transparency

Cons: Help articles are sometimes vague

Failed me when I needed them most

I lost a significant amount because Bitunix did not execute my stop loss during a flash crash. They said the market was illiquid. Other brokers managed to execute. I have no proof they did not trade against me. Avoid.

Pros: Dedicated account manager|Clear documentation|Dividend tracking

Cons: Inactivity fee applies after 12 months|Withdrawal takes 1-2 business days

Rollover requirements are insane

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Bitunix recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Segregated accounts|Social trading features|Fast support response

Cons: Limited cryptocurrency options
