I was about to invest with BDS but decided to check their regulatory status first. They claim to be regulated but I could not find them on any official register. Ontario Securities Commission has actually issued a warning about this firm. Thank goodness I checked before sending any money.

Cons: Not registered with regulators|Unrealistic promises

A cautionary tale

The so-called education at BDS is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for over a year thinking they would help me learn.

Pros: Detailed reporting|Copy trading available|Reliable uptime

Cons: No integrated tax optimization

Statement errors every month

I have been trying to close my account with BDS for weeks now and they keep giving me the runaround. First it was a form to fill out, then identity verification again, then a mandatory phone call that never gets scheduled. They make leaving impossible.

Pros: Clear documentation|Smooth onboarding|Market news feed

Cons: No phone support on weekends

Beyond frustrated

My withdrawal from BDS was rejected three times for vague reasons. Each time they asked for more documents. When I finally provided everything, they said my account was under review. for close to eighteen months of being strung along.

Pros: API access|Intuitive for beginners|Segregated accounts

Cons: Would like more payment methods|Some tools only available on higher tiers

No original thought

I found BDS through a forum discussion and the initial impression was positive. But since last summer later, I have encountered so many issues that I cannot recommend them. Trades failing, charts not loading, and support tickets going unanswered for days at a time.

Pros: Economic calendar|Excellent charting|Market news feed|Transparent fees

Cons: Charting tools need more indicators|Email notifications too frequent

Check regulatory status before investing

This company appears on the IOSCO I-SCAN international warnings list. Over 68 financial regulators worldwide contribute to this database. While being listed doesn't automatically mean fraud, it's a significant red flag that potential investors should take seriously. Do your research thoroughly.

Pros: Information is publicly available for verification

Cons: Appears in regulatory warnings database|Uncertain regulatory status

Same issues as parent brand

The hidden fees at BDS are the real scandal here. What they advertise and what they actually charge are two different things. By the time I realized how much I was paying in various fees and spreads, I had already lost a meaningful amount.

Pros: Social trading features|Instant funding|Regular updates|Tax reports included

Cons: Charting tools need more indicators

Horrible from beginning to end

BDS has the worst mobile app I have ever used for investing. It crashes constantly, features that work on desktop are missing entirely, and the security implementation is questionable at best. How they released this app is beyond me.

Pros: Good mobile app|Personal attention|High security standards

Cons: None so far|Currency conversion fee exists

Beware - This company is not legitimate

I invested $15,000 with BDS after seeing their professional-looking website. At first, everything seemed fine - they showed me impressive returns on my dashboard. But when I tried to withdraw, they kept making excuses. First it was "processing time," then "verification needed," then "you need to pay a tax fee first." I never got my money back. I have since reported them to Ontario Securities Commission.

Pros: Initially responsive customer service

Cons: Cannot withdraw funds|Not regulated|Pressure tactics

A disaster from day one

BDS advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

Pros: Dedicated account manager|Quick verification|Instant funding

Cons: No dark mode on mobile|Limited demo account features
