Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) changed their fee structure with one month notice. What was a flat fee became a percentage. For my account size it meant a huge increase. When I objected they said I could leave. So I am leaving and writing this review.

Pros: Low minimum deposit|Real-time alerts|Risk management tools|Fast execution

Cons: No live chat on mobile

Same issues as parent brand

I referred a friend to Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) after doing extensive research. We both deposited. The referral bonus never arrived. Support said we did not meet the terms. When we asked which terms they pointed to a clause that was added after we signed up. Shady.

Pros: No hidden fees|Fast support response

Cons: Limited social trading features|Spreads widen during volatile periods

Checked with regulators - they're not licensed

I found this company through a friend who recommended it. After spending for about three months trying to make Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) work for me, I have given up. The platform has too many limitations, the fees are not competitive, and the quality of their market data is questionable. There are much better options available.

Pros: Transparent fees|Educational resources|Good mobile app|Automated trading options

Cons: Would like more payment methods

This company appears on the IOSCO I-SCAN international warnings list. Over 68 financial regulators worldwide contribute to this database. While being listed doesn't automatically mean fraud, it's a significant red flag that potential investors should take seriously. Do your research thoroughly.

Cons: Appears in regulatory warnings database|Uncertain regulatory status

Headed in the wrong direction

Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) offers copy trading. I copied a top trader. The copy trades often executed at worse prices than the original. When I asked why they said it was due to latency and liquidity. So the feature is broken or they are skimming. Either way I stopped using it.

Pros: Fast deposits|Easy to use platform|Full transparency

Cons: No live chat on mobile|No phone support on weekends

Charting is from 2010

I had a dispute with Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) and went to their complaints process. They have an internal team that just defends the company. Then they said I could go to an ombudsman - but the ombudsman they use is industry-funded and rarely rules for the client. The system is rigged.

Pros: Fast support response|Multiple order types|No hidden fees|Multi-device support

Cons: Help articles are sometimes vague|Onboarding videos are outdated

Withdrawal blocked indefinitely

Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) seems more interested in acquiring new customers than taking care of existing ones. The marketing is aggressive but the product is mediocre. Once you are past the honeymoon period, the cracks in their service become very apparent.

Pros: Customizable dashboard|Excellent charting

Cons: Cannot customize dashboard fully

No demo account that works

Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) advertises low fees but once you dig into the fine print, there are numerous charges that add up quickly. Inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, currency conversion fees - it all eats into your returns. I wish I had read the terms more carefully.

Pros: Copy trading available|Good mobile app|Smooth onboarding

Cons: Withdrawal takes 1-2 business days

Nothing works as advertised

Their two-factor authentication was optional when I joined. I enabled it. Later I lost my phone and could not log in. Amicus Finance Limited (Imposter) recovery process took 3 weeks and required notarized documents. By then I had missed important trades. Their security is your inconvenience.

Pros: Stable platform|Social trading features|Easy withdrawals

Cons: No live chat on mobile|Limited social trading features
