Alska World

After doing some research AFTER the fact (I know, I should have done this first), I discovered that Alska World is not authorized by any legitimate financial regulator. They are operating illegally. The website looks very professional but it's all a facade. Please check the regulatory warnings database before investing with ANY company.

I wanted to transfer my portfolio from another broker to Alska World. They said they do not accept in-kind transfers for my asset type. I had to sell, withdraw, deposit, and rebuy - incurring taxes and spread costs. They did not tell me this before I signed up.

The so-called education at Alska World is just marketing. Every webinar ends with a push to deposit more. The market analysis is generic and often wrong. If you want real education go elsewhere. I wasted for a few weeks now thinking they would help me learn.

I closed a profitable position at Alska World and the profit was not credited for 5 days. Support said it was a settlement delay. When it finally arrived it was less than the amount shown on the platform. They could not explain the difference. I have moved my account.

I gave Alska World a fair chance. After since last summer of usage, I can say with confidence that there are far better options available. The interface is clunky, the fees are higher than competitors, and the customer support team seems overwhelmed or understaffed.

The reporting at Alska World is laughably bad. Tax documents are inaccurate, transaction histories have gaps, and trying to export data for your accountant is a nightmare. For a financial platform, getting the numbers right should be the bare minimum.

My withdrawal request from Alska World has been pending for over two weeks now. Every time I contact support, I get the same copy-paste response about processing times. This is unacceptable for a financial platform in this day and age.

The spread at Alska World is not what they advertise. During volatile markets it widens so much that you lose before the trade even starts. I found them when my bank disappointed me and I searched for alternatives and initially thought the platform was good - until I started trading seriously.

If you are reading this considering Alska World - run. I wish I had read more negative reviews through a financial advisor. I thought the positive ones were real. Maybe some are. My experience over for about five months has been so bad I feel obligated to warn others. Do not make my mistake.

Whether this is a misunderstanding or a serious concern, the fact remains that proper due diligence is essential. Always verify the regulatory status of any company before investing your hard-earned money.
